Not as spectacular as a lot of birthday parties posted out there these days but I like to stay sane in time for the birthday party, so we keep it simple:) We had cookies and milk, more fitting for a 2 year old. I usually spend the entire day making an over the top cake, then no one eats it. So cookies and milk and a big center piece were my compromise this year. Afterwards the kids had a squirt gun battle outside.
p.s. I LOVE my Cricut!!

Oh, Spring!
I don't know about you but I start to panic when Spring starts peeking its cute little head out of the ground in the form of tulips and daffodils. Why? Because I love to garden and as soon as the snow lifts itself off off the ground I want to be out there. The panic comes from the fact that I have a list a mile long of the crafts that I still want to do. In this I feel that winter isn't long enough. Gasp, did I just say that? Anyways if you are in the same boat, good luck to you. I hope you make it to shore.
Just to make things worse here are some cute project inspirations. If you are interested in the how-to's let me know.
